Founded in 1986, Roudan Co., Ltd. has built its manufacturing expertise on materials such as synthetic resins, continuously refining its approach to product development.
Since 1998, under my involvement in management, the company has progressively shifted its core mission toward creating products that enhance quality of life.

Through our experience across a wide range of product categories, we identified bedding as a field with exceptional potential.
People spend nearly one-third of their lives sleeping, and the ideal sleep environment changes depending on the season, physical condition, and individual body characteristics. The quality of this environment has a direct impact on daily well-being and performance.
At Roudan, we view bedding not simply as household goods, but as functional systems designed to shape and support the sleep environment.

My own experience with physical discomfort and insomnia led me to fundamentally reconsider what it truly means for bedding to support the body.
Rather than extending existing products, we pursued development that went deeper—into material properties, structural design, and real-world usage conditions. This approach resulted in the creation of BlueBlood.
BlueBlood was developed from the material level upward, including precise control of foaming conditions and physical properties. By achieving a balance between adaptive conformity and stable support, it has earned the trust and support of many customers as a pillow that genuinely responds to the body.

Today at Roudan, building on the expertise in material control and structural design cultivated through BlueBlood, we are advancing the development of the AirTech Series—sleep-tech bedding designed to engage more actively with the sleep environment.
AirTech integrates technologies such as air-pressure control, movable structures, and thermal and cooling elements, with a design philosophy focused on posture changes, circulation, and thermal regulation.
By reexamining the assumption that “bedding is static,” we aim to create bedding that functions in response to the body’s condition.

Roudan continues to develop products that evolve sleep from mere rest to true recovery, working across multiple technological domains including urethane, fiber, resin, magnetic systems, and thermal and air-control technologies.
Through the integration of real-world experience and solid technical foundations, we remain committed to proposing sleep environments that meet the needs of each era.
